Cable Sales Executive

As a Regional Sales Officer at Ducab India, you will lead market expansion efforts, focusing on key sectors such as metro, nuclear, airport expansions, and OEM businesses. Your role involves strategically identifying and pursuing business development opportunities to generate substantial income. You will establish a strong market presence, enhance revenue streams, and contribute significantly to Ducab India's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:- Budgets, Forecast, and Operational Plans:
- Develop comprehensive budgets aligned with business plans, KPIs, and SLAs for Ducab India's target accounts.
- Monitor and control expenditure to optimize resource allocation.
- Prepare periodic sales forecasts and reports based on market trends and customer demand.
- Determine the optimal product mix to support forecasted sales.
- Business Development:
- Develop strategic customer relationships across diverse industry segments, including Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Defense, Renewable Energy, Mobility, High Voltage, and Infrastructure.
- Formulate and execute go-to-market strategies to penetrate target customer segments effectively.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify high-potential clients and organize conferences and presentations.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with clients, consultants, and approval bodies.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities for Ducab's product portfolio.
- Establish prequalification approval processes with key authorities in sectors such as Airports, Nuclear, Metros, and Railways.
- Drive the development of cost-optimized products by optimizing design, raw materials, and packaging.
- Collaborate with government testing agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Key Account Management:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with major customers to position Ducab as their preferred choice.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of key customers' needs and align Ducab's offerings accordingly.
- Expand relationships with existing customers by proposing innovative solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and services to meet customer expectations.
- Execution of Sales Contracts:
- Collaborate with the Order Execution team for efficient planning and execution of sales orders.
- Liaise with the Supply Chain department to explore opportunities for margin enhancement.
- Engage with key officials within customer organizations to ensure timely payments and effective debt collection.
- Negotiation:
- Skilfully negotiate offer prices, terms of sale, technical document finalization, delivery terms, and payment terms.
- Scrutinize incoming orders to ensure alignment with acceptable commercial terms.
- Verify and validate the terms of Sales agreements before finalization.
- Market Trends & Management Reporting:
- Offer insights into market intelligence, trends, and competitive feedback to enable informed decision-making.
- Deliver accurate and timely sales performance reports as needed by management.
- BE- Electrical or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role within the cable manufacturing sector.
- MBA is an added advantage.
- Experience in selling large projects especially the Metro rail, Airport, Nuclear projects etc is a must.
- Proficiency requires a strong technical foundation in cable manufacturing, deep industry knowledge, proven business acumen in cable sales, and strategic thinking.
