About the Role

In a key position, you will ensure seamless communication to empower business leaders and team members with informed decision-making, fostering a collaborative work environment for our global, remote team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Onboard new hires, introducing them to company culture and policies on their first day, ensuring timely completion of asset and access-related tasks.
  • Conduct thorough background verification processes for all new employees in collaboration with external vendors.
  • Maintain regular check-ins with new and existing staff to monitor happiness, productivity, and overall well-being, addressing any people-related concerns or conflicts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, providing guidance on policies and culture.
  • Develop and implement engaging online and offline activities to maintain team enthusiasm, driving employee retention.
  • Create and manage communication materials, such as email templates, policies, and engagement announcements, on behalf of the People Operations team.
  • Partner with leaders to draft policies and update the employee handbook, aligning with the company's vision, mission, and values.
  • Design initiatives to minimize turnover and maximize employee retention, conducting exit interviews and overseeing the off-boarding process from start to finish.
  • Issue necessary letters and emails for the team, coordinating salary changes and payroll with the Finance team within established timelines.
  • Review paperwork and contracts related to employment, providing support to the People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams when needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Maturity and ability to handle sensitive people matters.
  • High energy levels and capacity to run engagement activities end-to-end.
  • Strong affinity for working with people.
  • Empathy and rational thinking.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in People Operations, staffing, and large-scale people-related roles.
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and employee relations case management.
  • Data analysis, trend identification, and development of recommendations based on analysis.
  • Effective problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with numbers, MS Office, and tools like Fresh team, Zoho, Deel, Just Works.
  • Experience working with a global, remote team exceeding 250 employees.
