Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Business Development Executive to join our sales team at Upspir, a bootstrapped edtech startup. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective students, and achieving enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive student enrollments and lead the sales process from outreach to closing.
- Act as the first point of contact for sales inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Counsel students on career planning and explain the benefits of our career-oriented programs.
- Maintain an updated prospect database and own the onboarding process and relations with onboarded students.
- Ensure timely CRM updates and accurate data entry.
- Present our offerings to colleges and universities, highlighting the value of our programs.
- Represent the company at trade shows, events, and demonstrations, showcasing our expertise and commitment to education.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the education industry.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and closing skills, with a proven track record of success.
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to discipline and a passion for education.
