We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Area Sales Manager. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to meet sales objectives.

About the Role

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the assigned area, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's/Masters degree in Physics/Nanotechnology/Engineering/Life Sciences, minimum 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the scientific industry, and excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales objectives
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned area
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's / Masters degree in a Physics/ Nanotechnology/ Engineering / Life Sciences
  • Experiecnes in sales fo Electron Microscopy Products., XPS products is desireable
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the scientific industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

A competitive estimated salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits and a comprehensive compensation package that reflects your value to our organization.
