International Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a driven and results-focused professional to join our Exports team as International Business Development Manager (B2B) for East Africa region in our Premix division.
The position will be based at our Mumbai Head Office. About us.
Hexagon Nutrition Limited is a complete Nutrition Solutions provider organization operating in the Nutrition space for more than three decades by now.
We have state-of-the-art manufacturing plants at Nashik, Chennai, and Tuticorin in India and at Tashkent in Uzbekistan.
PENTASURE is our Brand name very well established in Clinical Nutrition with 15 strong products mapped to different therapeutic applications available in India and over 70 countries globally.
Our Nutritional Premix products include Micro Nutrient Premix, Malnutrition Products, Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK), Animal Nutrition, and Flour Enzymes, etc.
About the role:
- We need someone to achieve top line and bottom-line targets in the region, acquire new customers, sustain orders from existing customers, track, apply, and grab local government tenders for premixes, RUTF, RUSFs.
- You will aggressively explore FMCG and Conglomerates to increase business in Customized Premix.
- Identify and build strong relationships with local business and channel partners, their training, marketing events, inputs, and ensure required liaison with all stakeholders.
- Lead contract negotiations with international customers.
- Track sales metrics and report on performance regularly.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
The Successful Applicant:
- B.Sc. & MBA Marketing/International Marketing preferred.
- At least 5 years of overall B2B sales experience in East Africa regions.
- Should have experience either in Nutraceuticals/Pharmaceuticals/FMCG/Food Supplements/Ingredients/Flavors/Premixes, etc., business.
- This role requires frequent travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- To expand the sales base and increase revenue through acquiring new customers and increasing sales volume from existing customers.
- To lead the negotiation process for new and existing contracts.
- To develop strategies and plans to penetrate new markets.
- To manage and maintain effective relationships with key clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- To monitor market trends and competitors' activities.
A competitive salary of ₹1200000 - ₹1800000 per annum
