Job Title: Culinary Professional
- Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of food ingredients by chopping vegetables, peeling potatoes and cutting meat or fish.
- Measuring and weighing ingredients for recipes.
- Assistance in making sauces, soups and other dishes.
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area including utensils and equipment.
- Washing and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils and equipment.
- Properly storing leftover food and labeling it.
- Providing support to the chef de partie or sous chef by following instructions.
- Assistance with receiving and checking deliveries.
- Storage of supplies in designated areas.
- Notifying senior chefs about low stock levels.
- Compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Wearing proper kitchen uniform and personal protective equipment.
- Reporting any hazards or kitchen issues.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in hotel management, culinary arts or catering technology.
- 2-5 years experience in continental cuisine.
- Training provided for eligible candidates.
