
Global Insurance Partnership Manager

The Insurance Manager role is a strategic position within the organization, responsible for managing insurance partnerships and overseeing the execution of enterprise-wide outsourcing workstreams. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in insurance/reinsurance operations, governance, transition, and BPO management in the P&C domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Governance: Develop and maintain a strong governance framework, including MBRs, QBRs, and Townhalls, to facilitate performance management and effective communication between stakeholders and offshore teams.
- Performance Management: Ensure robust tracking of progress, including performance monitoring of offshore delivery and building action plans around deficiencies.
- Liaising with Internal Stakeholders and Strategic Vendor Partners: Foster closer working relationships and ensure seamless collaboration.
- Internal Audit: Ensure correct invoicing, transformation benefits delivered, and operational efficiencies and quality delivered by vendors in line with MSA/SOW.
Talent Management:
- Managing Development Program (DP): Design and run training engines to cater to different skillsets across P&C domains.
- Staffing and Hiring Needs: Help offshore teams staff for ongoing requirements and backfill positions as needed.
- People and Engagement: Develop rewards and recognition frameworks (R&R activities & joint calendars) to enhance employee engagement.
Strategy and Transition Management:
- Support business identification/opportunities in global markets related to outsourcing, feasibility analysis, and setup.
- Identify bottlenecks in account and delivery management and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Provide consultancy to offshore/onshore managers to drive successful transitions and offshoring benefits.
Qualifications:
- Master's in business administration from a top-tier institute.
- Higher education in P&C Insurance (MBA, ACII, CPCU, or FIII) preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in the insurance industry (preferably P&C).
- Experience in end-to-end offshore insurance/reinsurance F&A, finance operations, and underwriting life cycle management.
- 5+ years of experience in people, project, transformation, governance, and program management.
- Strong MS Office skills, including Storyboarding using MS PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Advanced Excel, SQL, R, Python, and Visualization Platforms such as Power BI.
