Job Summary

As a seasoned culinary professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Pan Asian restaurant kitchen. This includes managing staff, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef with a passion for Pan Asian cuisine. A high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience in the culinary industry are required. Alternatively, a two-year degree in Culinary Arts or a related field and two years of experience are also acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring Culinary Standards and Responsibilities are Met
  • Manage restaurant kitchen shift operations and ensure compliance with Food & Beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Estimate daily production needs and communicate with restaurant kitchen personnel.
  • Assist the Executive Chef with all restaurant kitchen operations and preparation.
Leading Restaurant Operations
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
  • Lead shifts while personally preparing food items and executing requests.
Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
  • Provide services that exceed customer expectations and promote guest satisfaction.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and maintain quality standards.
Maintaining Culinary Goals
  • Achieve and exceed performance, budget, and team goals.
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize tasks and accomplish work.
Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities
  • Identify developmental needs of others and provide coaching and mentoring.
  • Participate in the employee performance appraisal process and provide feedback.
