Job Summary
As a key member of our culinary team, the Sous Chef - Pan Asian will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant kitchen. This includes managing staff, maintaining high-quality food standards, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage kitchen staff and coordinate activities to ensure seamless service
• Supervise food preparation and presentation to meet Marriott International's high standards
• Develop and implement menu concepts and recipes to drive culinary innovation
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention
Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment
• Proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff and driving culinary innovation
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain high-quality food standards
