Business Development Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to lead our expansion efforts in the petrochemicals and oil rig sectors.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the petrochemicals vertical, focusing on oil rigs and exploration assets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic acquisition opportunities in India and internationally.
  • Drive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) strategy from target identification to integration.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets globally.
  • Leverage existing networks and establish strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the global petrochemical and oil exploration sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute deals smoothly.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to identify new growth avenues.
  • Represent the company at international forums, trade shows, and industry conferences.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy in petrochemicals/oil & gas.
  • Proven track record of deal-making, especially with international assets or companies.
  • Deep understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, particularly rig operations.
  • Strong global network in petrochemicals, especially in coastal countries with active oil rigs.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • MBA or relevant technical qualification preferred.
