Senior Financial Professional
Key Responsibilities:This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, developing processes, and providing support to stakeholders. This enables reliance on accurate financial numbers for strategic business decisions.
- Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensure correctness and completeness of accounting by reviewing balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, GL balances, and closing books on time.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to evaluate requirements and develop new/improved processes.
- Prepare quarterly channel partner-wise profit and loss accounts, and provide timely data to compliance teams for regulatory filings.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, provide support/suggestions, conduct regular meetings, and follow-ups to ensure timely data provision.
- Manage finance & accounts team by participating in selection processes, determining training needs, setting objectives, conducting reviews, and closing appraisal processes.
- Assist auditors by providing understanding of processes and financials, and offering timely data and support for audit completion.
- Chartered Accountant qualification required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in revenue accounting for retail customers.
- Clear understanding of accounting concepts and adjustments.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP, NAV, Oracle, Tally).
- Able to work with large databases.
