**Regional Sales Director Opportunity**

As a seasoned commercial leader, you will spearhead strategic growth initiatives across India to drive market expansion.

  • Develop Commercial Strategy: Contribute to the development of business growth strategies, determine tactics for key accounts, and expand Biocon API market share in India.
  • Lead Sales and Account Management: Oversee operations, day-to-day activities, and monthly order forecasting for production planning. Grow business share, expand relationships within customers, and direct/align with Global and Regional Key Account Managers to penetrate client organizations.
  • Deploy Consultative Selling: Identify customer supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions through strong consultative selling approaches. Interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses from order receipt to shipment dispatch as per customer requirements.
  • Co-ordination: Co-ordinate with planning, production, and Logistics/Shipping teams to ensure timely dispatch, shipping documentations, and payments. Also, interact/co-ordinate with various departments for samples, regulatory requirements, DMFs, and other documentation for new customers and regulatory approvals.
  • Market Research and Intelligence: Provide market research, intelligence, and key information on international market trends and competition to support divisional export strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 15 to 20 years of relevant industry experience in API Sales and Business Development (India market focus preferred).
  • High energy individual with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse disciplines.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including excellent verbal and written communication skills, relationship management skills, strategic thinking, open-mindedness, and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with incomplete information.
