Job Title: Sales Engineer, West

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in the West region. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions to our customers, helping them to navigate the complexities of cybersecurity and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality presales support and solutions to customers, bringing unique value to the table.
  • Develop close relationships with customers to help influence their technical strategy.
  • Conduct routine updates on new products and technologies to internal sales staff.
  • Work closely with Regional and Global Product Managers to obtain the latest product and technology knowledge.
  • Present complex technical issues and solutions to customers in a meaningful and engaging manner.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to design solutions that solve customer problems.
  • Develop and deliver training to customers and prospects about Trend Micro solutions.
  • Work with company technical support personnel to ensure ongoing quality of support and customer health.

Requirements

  • Rich experience in delivering high-quality presales support and solutions.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of SOC operations, security analytics capabilities, cloud architect understanding, cloud native application security, SASE, CASB, and Zero Trust model.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft O365, Azure, Google, and AWS services.
  • Exposure to security software solutions like Firewall, Content Security, Intrusion Prevention, Encryption, Data Leakage, Data Protection, and Monitoring Security.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • A strong interest in all aspects of cybersecurity and a passion for customer security.
