Job Summary
As a Key Account Specialist, you will be responsible for retaining and growing business with existing and new customers in the region. You will identify additional sales opportunities, execute sales strategies, and develop partnerships with distributors and end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of projects to drive annual sales growth.
- Educate and evaluate end-users and channel partners to develop appropriate plans.
- Encourage and maintain excellent working relationships with distributors and end-users.
- Keep customers informed about latest technology developments and product innovations.
- Regularly review market changes and dynamics to ensure opportunities align with company strategy.
- Support team sales initiatives by sharing relevant information for assigned accounts.
- Prepare regular progress, status, and forecast reports to management.
- Anticipate spending 80% of time in front of end-users/customers.
- Manage customer accounts payable and ensure timely collection.
- Continuously improve working knowledge of existing and new products and services.
Education/Work Experience
- Engineering graduate in Mechanical or Industrial Production with 8+ years of experience in Production/Manufacturing Engineering, Methods/Process Engineering, or Sales/Application.
- Competent in understanding and communicating product and technical information.
- Able to assess customer needs competently.
- Computer literate with good presentation skills and drive/energy to coordinate and implement strategies.
- Strong administrative/communication skills.
- Willing to travel extensively and work with cross-functional teams.
