Edtech Sales Leader

NxtWave is a pioneering edtech company dedicated to transforming education in India. As a Senior Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy, leveraging your expertise to unlock new revenue streams and foster lasting relationships with clients.
About the Position:This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced sales leader to join a dynamic organization and contribute to its continued growth and success. You will be responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies, leading a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue growth through innovative customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with NxtWave's growth objectives, prioritizing revenue generation, market expansion, and competitive positioning within the edtech sector.
- Team Leadership: Spearhead the sales team to consistently meet and surpass revenue targets, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities while refining sales processes to optimize performance and conversion rates.
- Market Insights: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer behavior, using these insights to adapt and refine sales strategies, ensuring NxtWave's continued market leadership.
- Customer Engagement: Design and implement innovative customer acquisition and retention strategies, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Performance Management: Establish clear, measurable goals and KPIs for the sales team, regularly assessing performance, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring alignment with NxtWave's overarching mission and objectives.
- Team Development: Lead, inspire, and develop a world-class sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
- Operational Efficiency: Champion cost-efficient sales initiatives, ensuring maximum return on investment without compromising on the quality of outcomes, effectively managing resources to drive sustainable results.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in sales, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role within the edtech or a related industry.
- Skills: Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a competitive, fast-paced market, in-depth knowledge of the Indian edtech landscape, including market trends, customer preferences, and competitive strategies.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, ability to blend strategic vision with tactical execution, leading by example and driving results.
- Financial Management: Frugal mindset with a focus on resource optimization and efficiency, strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Purpose: Passion for education and a deep commitment to NxtWave's mission to empower students across India.
