About Our Opportunity

PhonePe, the leading UPI-based payments provider in India, seeks a skilled Sales Growth Manager to accelerate our offline business expansion. With a market share of over 40% and 550+ million users on our platform, we are poised for significant growth.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will lead our mass offline team in driving merchant acquisition, sales, and servicing across urban and rural markets. This role requires a strong sales background, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate a team of Business Development Executives/Associates/Distributors (BDEs).

The Sales Growth Manager will be responsible for:

  • Growing the merchant network by acquiring and servicing new merchants, and retaining existing ones.
  • Ensuring quality execution through regular audits and review mechanisms.
  • Presenting products to merchants, managing escalations, and monitoring competition within assigned territories.
  • Driving acquisition and win-back productivity to maintain market leadership.
  • Promoting brand visibility in assigned territories, leveraging provided collaterals.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven working experience of 2-4 years in sales, managing sales teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sales/customer service focus.
  • Field sales experience with a proven track record of increasing sales and revenue.
  • Experience with distributor management would be an added advantage.

A basic understanding of MS Office is required. The estimated salary for this role is ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
