Sales and Marketing Director

About the Role:
The Business Development Manager for WBB GigTaxes will be responsible for driving growth and expansion of our tax filing services division, specifically targeting gig workers in the US market.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will work closely with the CEO to develop and execute strategic plans, leveraging marketing efforts while independently driving brand development and sales initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience in business development, sales, or operational management, with a strong understanding of US cultural nuances and market requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase client acquisition and retention
- Build and lead a dedicated sales team to establish and grow the client base
- Collaborate closely with the technical team responsible for tax preparation, ensuring high service quality and efficient operations
- Drive digital marketing initiatives and work with the digital marketing team to scale outreach and engagement
Requirements:
- Prior experience in business development, sales, or operational management in the US market
- Strong knowledge of US cultural nuances, experience in client communications, and an understanding of US consumer behavior, particularly in the gig economy
- Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and coordinate across multiple departments
