Job Title: Academic Counselor

The primary objective of an Academic Counselor is to provide students with guidance and support to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients and research target markets to generate leads through various channels, including online research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients by understanding their needs and requirements and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, prepare persuasive sales presentations for clients, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, analyze market data to identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with the sales team and other departments to achieve collective goals.
  • Student Counseling: Engage with prospective students to understand their academic background, career objectives, and learning preferences, and assist students with the enrollment process, including course selection, fee payment, and registration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Industry Knowledge: Must have in-depth knowledge of the education sector and its trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective client interaction and report writing.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex situations and develop creative solutions.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
