**Job Profile: Academic Counselor (FEMALE only)**

Airgo Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Counselor to provide comprehensive support and guidance to our students in their educational journey. The Academic Counselor will help students navigate their academic pathways, set educational goals, and achieve their personal and professional aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
- **Individual Counseling**: Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and interests, and assist them in creating personalized academic plans.
- **Academic Guidance**: Advise students on course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies. Help them understand the implications of their academic choices and inform them about additional resources available.
- **Career Development**: Offer assistance with career exploration, including internships and job shadowing opportunities. Support students in creating resumes, cover letters, and preparing for interviews.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Conduct assessments to identify students' academic skills and learning styles. Use evaluation tools to monitor student progress and suggest interventions as needed.
- **Workshops and Programs**: Organize and lead workshops on study skills, time management, and stress management. Develop programs that foster academic success and personal growth.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with faculty, administration, and support staff to identify at-risk students and implement early intervention strategies. Foster a supportive learning environment.
- **Follow-up and Support**: Maintain regular contact with students to track their academic progress and provide ongoing support. Encourage self-advocacy and personal accountability among students.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and academic progress. Prepare reports as required by administration.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Counseling or Guidance is preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in academic counseling, advising, or a related field within an educational setting is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Empathy and understanding of diverse student backgrounds and needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using counseling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
