Key Responsibilities:

As a Food and Beverage Hostess at AccorHotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. Your role will involve:

  1. Guest Engagement: Ensuring guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their dining experience.
  2. Menu Knowledge: Providing detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, and making recommendations based on guest preferences.
  3. Order Management: Taking accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring all special requests are communicated to the kitchen and bar.
  4. Service Coordination: Working closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth service flow.
  5. Upselling: Proactively promoting menu items, beverages, and special promotions to maximize revenue opportunities.
  6. Quality Assurance: Monitoring and ensuring the quality of food and beverage presentation meets AccorHotel standards before serving to guests.
  7. Problem Resolution: Addressing any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
  8. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with fellow team members to provide seamless service and contribute to a positive working environment.
  9. Hygiene and Safety: Adhering to hygiene and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine service, is an advantage.
  • Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is desirable.
