Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Barista Ambassador to join our team at Raffles Udaipur. As a Barista Ambassador, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing a high-quality dining experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, ensuring all tables are set according to standards and procedures.
  • Deliver food and beverage services in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
  • Check table settings, cleanliness, and side station preparation prior to the start of operation.
  • Greet patrons warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
  • Ensure all food and beverages are served according to service standards.
  • Apply necessary precautions to maintain hotel food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Pick up and serve food and beverage orders, ensuring they are delivered promptly to guests.
  • Remember individual patrons' names and preferences to extend personalized service.
  • Upsell and promote food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue.
  • Thank patrons for their visit upon departure.
  • Clear and tidy up tables after patrons depart, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Collect food and beverage supply requisitions, ensuring accurate stock collection.
  • Report any complaints, incidents, or irregularities to management.
  • Assist other Food and Beverage outlets during peak times or as required.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, contents, and preparation methods.
  • Be well-versed in hotel fire and life safety/emergency procedures.
  • Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings assigned by management.
  • Report for duty on time, wearing clean and complete uniform at all times.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Secondary/High school education.
  • Additional certification(s) in Food and Beverage will be an advantage.
  • Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
