Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Zonal Sales Manager to lead our sales team at IndiaMART Intermesh. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management and a strategic mindset to drive sales growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze key data of the region allocated, including sales figures, sales personnel, productivity ratios, client work status, and receivables.
• Accurately forecast weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue streams.
• Identify opportunities and problem areas, prepare action plans for achieving key sales figures, and present sales reports.
• Actively drive and ensure sales target achievement, manage sales support functions, and ensure timely work completion of customers.
• Recruit, develop, and retain respective teams by formulating development plans, meeting their training needs, and communicating with them on a regular basis.
• Record performance metrics and monitor key parameters to increase overall productivity of the sales personnel.
• Drive performance with incentive structures and sales promotion schemes.
• Collect market feedback and provide periodic updates to management for policy and strategy formulation.
• Penetrate targeted accounts and originate sales opportunities for the company's products and services.
• Ensure systematic follow-up with client organizations to take sales pitches to time-bound closure.
• Ensure all payments are collected as per the company's payment terms.
• Ensure adherence to sales processes and requirements.
• Conduct performance reviews for the team on a regular basis.

Candidate Attributes

• MBA with 5+ years of experience in Sales/Acquisition
• Knowledge and application of sales techniques such as rapport building, selling on emotion, building value in the product, and closing the sale.
• Keen understanding of business and technical contexts in which key accounts are situated.
• Business advisory for our customers.
• Preference for candidates with team handling experience of 100+ individuals (at least 4 years of experience)
