About the Role
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for leading Red Bull's General Trade Sales efforts in Bangalore. This role requires a strong understanding of the sales fundamentals, including distribution, pricing, placements, POSM, promotions, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve financial and trade sales targets for all distributors, towns, and specified geography.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, ensuring the long-term success of Red Bull strategies.
- Measure and adapt sales fundamentals to maximize growth potential.
- Responsible for distributor claims, inventory management, and warehouse hygiene.
- Recruit, train, and develop frontline field force (3rd Party, Distributors) in the area.
- Develop and execute incentivisation programs for key deliverables.
- Plan and execute key marketing-aligned activations for the specified geography.
- Align with Field Marketing team on sales drives, event sales, and activations across channels.
- Ensure all relevant outlets within a specific geography are serviced and merchandised by distributors each month as per agreed sales plans.
- Develop and implement coverage optimisation plans as per company guidelines.
- Ensure right pricing across store formats and channels.
- Execute planned programs, promotions, and merchandise across customers across channels in the specified geography.
- Drive incentive programs and continuously develop and review guidelines to track and measure objectives on distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing in each outlet, city, and area in total.
- Manage distributor inventory to prevent loss of sale on account of non-availability of stocks by effectively and efficiently working with distributors, warehouses, and regional logistics teams as per company standards.
- Maintain hygiene at the distributor warehouse as per regulatory and company norms.
- Timely submission of distributor claims along with proper company-approved supporting documentation.
- Resolve distributor queries by coordinating with regional finance.
- Drive alternate channel objectives for the geography by getting distributors and frontline teams aligned to channel requirements.
- Maintain relationships with key accounts across channels, including Perfect Store, Bull Bars, Contracted accounts, and Wholesale, to drive business objectives.
Requirements
- Graduation or higher education
- FMCG sales experience of 3.5-5 years, with experience of handling distributors and frontline field force
- Experience in General Trade Sales is a must
- Additional channels knowledge and experience will be an added benefit
- Up to 30 years old
- Basic leadership quality
- Good communication, planning, and presentation skills
- Analytical ability and logical thinking
