Job Title: Chef De Partie

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chef De Partie to join our AccorHotel team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the culinary team and ensuring the efficient and profitable functioning of the kitchen.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the kitchen team to ensure the production of high-quality food and the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement menu planning and food preparation strategies to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met and maintained.
  • Monitor and control food costs and inventory levels to ensure profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the highest quality ingredients and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for the culinary team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen at a comparable level of luxury service.
  • 3 years of experience as a certified Journeyman in a 1st cook or similar role.
  • Interprovincial Red Seal or international equivalent.
  • Current Food Safe level 1 or equivalent recognized food safety certificate.
  • Successful demonstration of high-level technical and artistic culinary skills assessed during a practical cooking test.
  • Successful demonstration of high-level culinary and food safety knowledge assessed through a written test.
  • Willing and able to taste all food products.
  • Completely fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.

Working Hours:

Full-time position, flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
