About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Development Manager to lead our retail sales efforts in the assigned territory.

This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who can drive revenue growth, expand distribution networks, and develop strong relationships with channel partners and field sales executives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Acquisition: Identify and pursue new retail outlets to meet targets, ensuring a strong presence in the market.
  2. Distribution Expansion: Drive revenue growth by increasing the width of distribution and product availability, thereby enhancing customer reach.
  3. Channel Partner Management: Monitor productivity of channel partners and field sales executives, providing guidance and support to optimize performance.
  4. Team Development: Train and ensure the availability of required field sales executives with distributors, fostering a collaborative environment.
  5. Inventory Management: Ensure distributors and retailers maintain adequate stocks, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  6. Distribution Strengthening: Increase recharge selling outlets and SIM selling outlets, reinforcing our distribution network.
  7. Performance Metrics: Drive basic distribution parameters – return on investment (ROI) of distributors and retailers.
  8. Competitive Intelligence: Gather and report competition plans, policies, best practices, and initiatives, staying ahead of the market.
  9. Territory Development: Enhance brand visibility in the assigned territory through targeted marketing efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Product and Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of our products and services, as well as the local market landscape.
  2. Channel Sales Expertise: Proven experience in channel sales, including relationship management and territory development.
  3. Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards shared goals.
  4. Relationship Building: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with channel partners and internal stakeholders.
  5. Target Orientation: Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a focus on driving business growth.
  6. Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this role is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
