Key Account Manager Job Description

As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the distribution network in assigned territories. This involves strategic planning and execution to increase sales and revenue.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute plans to expand distribution networks in assigned territories.
  • Manage existing dealer networks effectively.
  • Meet daily requirements including:
  • Securing orders from dealers as per assigned targets.
  • Collections of payments and reducing outstanding amounts.
  • Efficiently ensuring that credit notes reach dealers on time.
  • Maintaining clear accounts with dealers.
  • Expanding the network through new dealers.
  • Initiating field development related to new sign boards, painter meets, etc.
  • Briefing dealers about new schemes and target products.
  • Conducting regular meetings with influencers like architects, contractors, housing societies, painters, etc., for business development.
  • Ensuring proper visibility of our products at counters.
  • Filling daily reports in CRM.
  • Achieving targeted weighted reach numeric reach in the territory.
  • Achieving targeted CCD reach in the territory.
  • Training newly recruited TSS.
  • Supporting ASM in scheduled tasks.
