Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

About the Role

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to lead sales efforts for national accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong business development skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet established targets for assigned verticals, utilizing a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  2. Leverage regional and global resources to provide marketing, technical, and customer service support to clients in assigned markets.
  3. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and adherence to process standards.
  4. Foster and manage long-term relationships with C-level executives, senior government officials, and other key influencers to drive business growth and maintain Haworth's brand reputation.
  5. Maintain a thorough understanding of market conditions, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements to inform strategic decisions.
  6. Prepare high-quality tenders and proposals that meet client expectations and showcase Haworth's value proposition.
  7. Travel within India as needed to engage with customers, partners, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, marketing, or sales)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through strategic account management and relationship-building
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA
  • Experience working with government or semi-government organizations
  • Knowledge of local market conditions, regulations, and industry trends
