Job Description:
The Performance Optimization Specialist will be responsible for managing and resolving complex technical issues, focusing on system performance and availability. Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage and resolve critical technical support cases
  • Analyze metrics using tools like BigData, Splunk, and Grafana to identify trends
  • Tune databases, optimize queries, and maintain data integrity
  • Review code to identify performance concerns
  • Bridge gaps between customers and internal teams to reproduce performance issues

Required Skills:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills:
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
  • Proficiency in Java, including object-oriented design principles and memory management
  • Scripting language skills (JavaScript preferred, Python or Perl also acceptable)
  • Advanced Unix/Linux experience
