GIS Support Specialist Role

As a seasoned GIS professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our geospatial mapping applications. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in providing top-notch support to users.

  • Offer advanced technical assistance for GIS software applications via multiple channels.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to software, data, and functionality.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions and create informative user guides, FAQs, and documentation.
  • Assist in the acquisition, processing, and integration of geospatial data.
  • Configure and customize GIS applications, scripts, and workflows to meet business requirements.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical support for GIS applications or similar software.
  • Detailed knowledge of GIS principles, spatial analysis, and mapping concepts.
  • Proficiency in popular GIS software platforms such as ArcGIS and QGIS.
  • Familiarity with various geospatial data formats (shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML) and coordinate systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
