About the Role:
- Pre-Opening Preparation & Execution
The hotel leader is accountable for a seamless transition from construction to operations. This involves coordinating with project, design, and procurement teams, developing detailed pre-opening timelines and budgets, and implementing brand standards across the property.
- Talent Development & HR Readiness
The hotel leader must recruit, train, and mentor department heads and key team members to ensure service excellence from Day 1. This includes driving pre-opening training programs focusing on SOPs, brand culture, and guest service standards.
- Revenue Growth & Business Development
The hotel leader is responsible for developing and implementing the hotel's pre-opening sales and marketing strategy in alignment with corporate teams. This includes building relationships with local corporations, travel partners, and media, establishing online presence, pricing strategy, and distribution channels pre-launch.
- Financial Performance & Budget Control
The hotel leader must prepare and monitor pre-opening budgets to ensure cost control and financial efficiency. This includes implementing revenue management systems and forecasting tools for optimal business performance post-opening.
- Licensing & Compliance Management
The hotel leader is responsible for overseeing acquisition of all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications for hotel operations. This includes ensuring adherence to safety, security, health, and environmental standards before and after opening.
- Operational Readiness & Launch Planning
The hotel leader must conduct mock drills, soft openings, and trial runs to fine-tune guest experiences. This includes ensuring operational excellence for a seamless grand opening and brand-compliant guest journey.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring brand standard implementation, overseeing OS&E and FF&E procurement, and managing pre-opening training programs.
