Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead our corporate affairs initiatives. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with government officials, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to advance our business goals.

Critical Tasks:

  1. Lead regular interactions with government officials to ensure a favorable policy environment.
  2. Monitor and ensure adherence to environmental clearances, labor law compliance, and land use permissions.
  3. Develop and execute crisis communication protocols and serve as primary media spokesperson during sensitive situations.
  4. Track policy developments affecting the steel/manufacturing sector and prepare position papers and advocacy strategies.
  5. Lead land acquisition processes and coordinate with legal teams on property-related matters.
  6. Brief senior leadership on political developments and coordinate with various departments to align corporate affairs strategies with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in engaging with government and industry leaders to influence policy and advance business goals.
  • Proven ability to handle media during crises and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Deep knowledge of land procurement, labour standards, and the socio-political landscape of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Capability to develop and execute data-driven public affairs strategies.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders within a complex, matrix organization.
