The Director of Revenue Management plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth at Fairmont hotels, a renowned luxury hotel brand with a global presence.

As the leader of the Commercial Strategy team, you will be responsible for establishing strategic vision and implementing tactical efforts to promote revenue growth among key customer segments and revenue centers. You will provide gathered intelligence and recommend revenue and e-commerce strategies to the Commercial Strategy team and other corporate entities.

You will ensure that inventory allocation and pricing parameters are positioned to support the overall revenue goals of the hotel while assisting all stakeholders in maximizing profit. Additionally, you will identify and mentor RM talent in the hotel.

This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You must effectively communicate a compelling Total Hotel Profit Optimization vision to all relevant property leaders and foster a Revenue Management Culture within the revenue-generating departments of the hotel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading strategic planning and collaborating with all hotel profit generation teams to drive incremental profit for Rooms, Restaurants, Spas, and other revenue streams.
  • Effectively communicating a compelling Total Hotel Profit Optimization vision to all relevant property leaders.
  • Leveraging Revenue Management analytics, technologies, processes, tools, and training programs to optimize hotel profits.
  • Crafting short- and long-term forecasts to inform pricing and yielding tactics.
  • Participating in the annual budget process and producing long-term projections.
  • Actively participating in ownership conversations and presentations.

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A dynamic can-do attitude is essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics, along with a minimum of 2 years of Revenue Management experience.
