
Culinary Team Member

A dynamic and skilled Line Cook is required to join our culinary team.
- This position involves preparing all basic food items for the menu as requested by their supervisor.
- The ideal candidate will possess advanced knife handling skills, be able to work in any section of a kitchen, have a good food knowledge and understanding of culinary terms, and be proficient in effecting completing tasks efficiently and productively.
- They must always follow Public Health standards within their section, maintain their assigned area in preparation for inspections, and report for duty at assigned times.
- Prepare all basic food items for the menu as requested by their supervisor.
- Maintain knife handling skills and adhere to Public Health standards.
- Work efficiently and productively in any section of the kitchen.
- This position is responsible for cost containment through proper use and handling of records, supplies, and equipment.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or convention banqueting service.
- A culinary school degree is required, with strong management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
- Very strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and people skills are essential.
- Superior customer service, teambuilding, and conflict resolution skills are required.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and intermediate computer software skills are necessary.
