About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Sales Development Lead to join our team at Rakuten. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our SDR team, driving sales activities, and ensuring pipeline growth in designated territories. With a strong sales background and excellent leadership skills, you will be able to motivate and guide your team to achieve their goals.

This role involves managing a team of 6, hiring, coaching, and performance management, working closely with sales and marketing to enhance sales outreach activities. You will participate in the SDR recruiting process and make hiring decisions, while assessing team needs and recommending training plans and programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing successful sales teams and a solid understanding of reporting, forecasting, and B2B sales processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 6 Sales Development Representatives.
  • Hire, coach, and perform performance management.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to enhance sales outreach activities.

Requirements and Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Development Manager with a background as an Account Executive or in a similar closing position.
- Ability to coach and hold team members accountable for results.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Solid understanding of reporting, forecasting, and B2B sales processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
- Experience in the IT sector and B2B sales or customer support.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year.
