This role offers an opportunity to partner with line managers to foster a positive work environment.

Develop strong relationships with HR teams, supporting new employee onboarding and recruitment processes.

Conduct reviews of employment legislation, compliance, and HR systems, proposing recommendations for improvement.

Participate in developing and implementing new HR initiatives and organizational effectiveness efforts.

Provide reports and analyses as requested by senior management.

As the first point of contact for HR-related queries, work collaboratively with the HR team and line management to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with HR specialist functions and centers of excellence.
  • Support line managers in new employee orientation and recruitment processes.
  • Review and propose improvements to employment legislation, compliance, and HR systems.
  • Collaborate on developing and implementing new HR initiatives and organizational effectiveness efforts.
  • Provide reports and analyses as requested by senior management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and work closely with the HR team and line management to address issues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience within an HR function, preferably as a generalist or combination of generalist and specialist roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation and influencing skills.
  • Good coaching and counseling skills.
  • A high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and establish effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
  • Professional HR accreditation in progress or desired.
