Job Title

  • Zonal Account Manager

Responsibilities

  1. Promote the complete ASP- TS & HLD portfolio to achieve sales objectives.
  2. Develop and provide weekly and monthly sales action plans to management, outlining activities required in each account to meet sales targets.
  3. Negotiate and close routine sales deals independently, with guidance for more complex transactions.
  4. Participate in Trade Displays and Conferences as required.

Territory Management

  1. Understand customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
  2. Identify tender/contract opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to deliver results.
  3. Develop an effective and efficient territory plan with guidance.
  4. Educate surgeons on appropriate infection control practices and solutions through consult-in-surgery, one-on-one sales calls, and one-to-many training sessions.

Customer In-service Education & Training

  • Work with management to identify customer in-service needs to support delivered healthcare services and product use.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all levels of customers in hospitals.
  • Coordinate and deliver in-service education sessions with assistance.
  • Advise marketing on customer in-service education resource requirements.

Key Account Management

  1. Develop a plan to optimize key account development and sales growth by identifying opportunities.
  2. Document key customers and decision-makers.
  3. Be aware of Key Account strategies for growth.
  4. Identify and optimize cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with managers/colleagues to realize these.
  5. Provide customer support on inventory within company guidelines.

Product & Market Knowledge

  • Develop understanding and continually enhance personal knowledge of products features, benefits, correct product application, through practical experience, training programs, and learning from key end-users.
  • Demonstrate application/usage of products and differentiate them from competitors' products.
  • Understand competitive products, their features-advantages-benefits.
  • Gather information on current practices, behaviors, and attitudes.

Expense, Equipment, and Samples

  1. Judiciously manage accounts receivable, operating expenses (transportation, A&P, entertainment, travel), while ensuring sustainable productivity.
  2. Seek prior approval for budget variations.
  3. Work within sample issue and coordination guidelines.
  4. Agree expense budget/guidelines with immediate manager.
  5. Plan sample and expense utilization to optimize usage while remaining within budget.

Corporate Ethics and Governance

  • Maintain a responsible and ethical approach while actively pursuing business outcomes.
  • Conduct business within ethics and values.
  • Relationships with customers based on high ethical standards.
