Solar Sales Director

Orb Energy is seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our rooftop solar efforts in Telangana. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of ₹25,00,000 - ₹30,00,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Job DescriptionAs a Solar Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans. Your primary focus will be on commercial and industrial (C&I) customers, leveraging your expertise to identify new business opportunities and close deals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sell rooftop solar projects > 100kWp to key accounts
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team in Telangana
- Develop and maintain relationships with channel partners and industry associations
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute impactful events and campaigns
- Work closely with the COO and head of Technical to ensure successful project execution and delivery
- Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale solar projects, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction
- Maintain strong communication with HQ management, providing regular updates and insights
About You:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector
- Proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Able to inspire and motivate team members to achieve exceptional results
- Prior experience in handling large-scale projects and key accounts is highly desirable
