Sales and Business Development Manager for Solar Energy Solutions

Job Description:
As a Sales and Business Development Manager for Solar Energy Solutions at SOFAR, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in the region by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the solar energy market.
Main Responsibilities:
- Product Introduction & Launch: Introduce and launch Solar Grid Tie Inverters & Hybrid Inverters to key customers
- Business Proposal Submission: Develop and submit business proposals to key account solar developers / EPC customers
- Key Accounts Mapping: Map targetted customers and identify potential sales opportunities
- Sales Growth: Drive sales growth in the region for assigned product categories
- Data Management: Provide support for data management & back-end operations
- Customer Support: Interface with customers for escalations related to sales-related matters/order processing
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Channel Sales of Solar / Energy / Power products
- Knowledge of Power Products: Familiarity with UPS, Inverters, Batteries, Solar Panels, and other related products
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Information:
The ideal candidate will have a strong network of contacts in the solar energy industry and be able to leverage these relationships to drive sales growth. The salary range for this position is ₹45,00,000 - ₹65,00,000 per annum based on performance, location, and qualifications.
