Business Development Manager

Job Description:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth and developing strategies to oversee all sales and operational aspects of the vertical. This includes managing existing programs, providing direction, setting goals, and ensuring the team delivers on KPIs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the vertical, managing it end-to-end from strategy to execution.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for growth, profitability, and scalability.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the vertical's reach.
  • Ensure portfolio growth and quality on a pan-India level for relationships managed.
  • Maintain relationships with channel partner teams to build stickiness and get consistent business from them.
  • Work closely with the tech team to develop systems that best serve corporate clients.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in business development, vertical management, and team management. Good understanding of financial products and credit. Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset, able to adapt to dynamic business environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications and Experience:

MBA or Master's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in building and nurturing mega-alliances, partners especially with banks, BFSI.
