Merchant Partnerships Strategist

The Role:
As the Head of Merchant Partnerships at LEO1, you will develop and execute the strategy for partnerships with merchants, financial institutions, and other stakeholders. You will lead a team focused on expanding LEO1's merchant network, negotiating partnerships, and ensuring mutually beneficial relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive merchant partnership strategy aligned with LEO1's business goals and market opportunities.
- Identify and prioritize potential merchant partners based on strategic fit, market relevance, and revenue potential.
- Negotiate and contract discussions with merchants, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for LEO1 while meeting partner expectations.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to integrate merchant offerings into LEO1's platform and enhance user experience.
- Monitor performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activities to optimize partnership strategies and maximize ROI.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or related roles, preferably within the fintech or payments industry.
- Strong understanding of merchant acquisition strategies, payment systems, and digital platforms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.
