
Strategic Corporate Sales Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Domestic Employee Benefit Broking Sales efforts in the West Region. The incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth through acquisition of large and mid-sized corporate clients, leading a high-performance sales team.
The role demands strong knowledge of group insurance (Health, Life, GPA) and solution-based selling in a highly competitive market.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for Employee Benefit Broking in alignment with national goals.
- New Client Acquisition: Prospect and acquire mid to large corporates for group insurance broking services including GHI, GTL, GPA, and voluntary benefits.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals across major cities in the West; drive performance and market penetration.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal teams – Claims, Placement, Retention, Wellness, Digital, and Underwriting – to deliver seamless client experience.
- Experience: 15+ years in employee benefit broking or corporate insurance sales; minimum 3 years in a regional leadership role.
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Insurance, or related fields. III/IRDA certifications preferred.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of group insurance products
- Strong client acquisition and relationship management skills
- Ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
