Debt Syndication Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Debt Syndication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in debt syndication.

  • Identify potential clients and develop strategic relationships to generate new business opportunities in debt syndication.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
  • Lead the end-to-end deal cycle of debt syndication projects, including structuring, negotiation, documentation, and execution.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial models, feasibility studies, and presentations for client pitches and lender meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, lenders, and other stakeholders to optimize financing terms and conditions for clients.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on debt financing options, including loan syndication, project financing, and debt restructuring.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of successful business development in debt syndication or related financial services.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in managing the entire deal cycle of debt syndication projects, including structuring, negotiation, and execution.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
