Senior Debt Collector

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Debt Recovery Professional to join our organization in India. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our accounts receivable and ensuring timely debt collection from clients.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the recovery of outstanding debts from clients through effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate smooth payment transactions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on overdue accounts via phone, email, or in-person visits to ensure prompt payment.
- Prepare and send accurate invoices and statements to clients as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all debt recovery activities and client interactions in the system.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies in accounts receivable.
- Provide regular reports on debt collection status and forecasts to management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software.
- Knowledge of debt recovery laws and regulations in India.
- Ability to analyze financial information and data for decision-making.
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve payment issues amicably.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and follow-ups.
