Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our team in Fixed Income Valuation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis of debt instruments.

The Research Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Valuations: Conduct valuations of various Indian debt instruments, including corporate bonds, money market instruments, government securities, state development loans, Treasury bills, etc.
  • Yield Curve Construction: Construct and review yield curves across issuers, sectors, and rating categories.
  • Market Analysis: Establish a strong network for polling across market participants, including mutual funds, insurance companies, banks, primary dealers, brokers, arrangers, and other active investor/trader segments.
  • Pricing Information: Poll daily with various debt market participants to source required pricing information.
  • Trade Analysis: Source and analyze trades/pricing data received from various market sources (exchanges, asset managers, etc.) for the purpose of valuations.
  • Model Preparation: Prepare valuation models using Excel/VBA.
  • Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc analytical reports for senior management and/or external agencies.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation related to valuations.
  • Application Development: Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of in-house applications.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
