Principal, Debt Syndication & Distribution (Mumbai)

We are a leading investment banking firm looking for an accomplished professional to join our Debt Syndication and Distribution team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in all aspects of debt instruments, from syndication to final placement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Origination and Execution: Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of various debt syndication mandates.
  • Distribution and Placement: Drive the distribution and placement of debt instruments, including bonds, debentures, and other structured debt products to a wide range of investors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, financial institutions, and institutional investors.
  • Market Analysis: Provide in-depth analysis of capital markets and credit trends to inform pricing and structuring decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in debt syndication, distribution, or a related field within an investment banking or financial institution.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of debt capital markets, various debt instruments, and the Indian regulatory landscape.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Network: An established network of corporate and institutional relationships is highly desirable.
