We are seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to spearhead growth initiatives in the petrochemicals vertical.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead business development for petrochemicals with a focus on oil rigs and exploration assets, driving strategic partnerships and identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Evaluate and pursue strategic acquisitions, prioritizing underperforming oil rigs in India and internationally, leveraging a robust pipeline of potential targets.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive network of stakeholders in the global petrochemical and oil exploration sector, fostering strategic relationships and collaborations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy in petrochemicals/oil & gas, with a proven track record of deal-making and international asset management.
  • Deep understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, especially rig operations, and strong analytical skills to evaluate complex deals.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain high-performing teams.
  • Global network in the petrochemical space, particularly in coastal countries with active oil rigs, and expertise in leveraging this network for business growth.
  • Possession of an MBA or relevant technical qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
