Lead Business Growth as a Partner Sales Leader

As a Partner Sales Leader at Sumo Logic, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic partnerships. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a business leader in Log Analytics, Observability, and Security, guiding Global System Integrators (GSIs) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) in understanding and maximizing the value of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Partner Sales Team to identify and onboard new partners, driving successful recruitment initiatives.
  • Achieve revenue targets within assigned partner base.
  • Work closely with Partner Solution Architects (PSAs) to drive efficient Proof of Value (POV) engagements with prospective partners, demonstrating the tangible benefits of integrating Sumo Logic into their service offerings.
  • Co-organize training sessions geared towards partner technical representatives and drive technical certification adoption.
  • Empower existing partners to deliver compelling demonstrations of Sumo Logic's services to potential clients, emphasizing the tailored solutions we provide.
  • Assist partners in crafting robust business plans and implementing best practices to optimize their partnership with Sumo Logic.
  • Facilitate seamless communication channels between partners and internal teams, conveying partner feedback and requirements to drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent Sumo Logic at partner and marketing events, showcasing our ecosystem and fostering valuable connections.
Requirements:
  • Three years of experience in selling, supporting, or implementing enterprise solutions within GSIs and MSSPs. Preferred experience supporting partners such as TCS, UST, HTC Global, HCL, Tech Mahindra, and LTI.
  • Preferred direct or indirect experience with other security and analytics platforms such as Sumo Logic, Splunk, New Relic, DataDog, Exabeam, Sentinel, and LogRhythm.
  • Proficiency with at least one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong business development and negotiation skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise technology, including servers, networking devices, SaaS solutions, and Cloud platforms.
  • Proven track record of engaging directly with partners to address business challenges effectively and delivering against financial targets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong business acumen.
  • Will to travel within the assigned region, up to 50%.
