With a strong presence in the logistics industry, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development and Sales Strategist to join our growing parcel booking division.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, securing new business, and developing effective marketing strategies to promote our parcel booking services. If you have a passion for sales and a drive to succeed, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Generate leads and secure new business for our full truck load (FTL) and part load (PTL) parcel booking services.
- Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.
- Presentation and Marketing: Prepare and deliver presentations on Nonstop's FTL and PTL services, highlighting the benefits and value proposition.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our parcel booking services.
- Target Achievement: Achieve and surpass individual sales targets.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales activities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Performance Record: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of FTL and PTL sales processes.
- Marketing Expertise: Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software (a plus). A valid driver's license is preferred.
