Rural Banking Relationship Manager

Job Summary
IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly skilled Rural Banking Relationship Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for building and deepening relationships with Rural Banking accounts, ensuring best-in-class service to customers, and driving client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess business loan needs of entrepreneurs in defined catchment areas.
- Drive Personal Loan business through assigned bank branch.
- Create and drive alternate channels for sales, including regular and new avenues through corporates.
- Mentor, guide, and motivate sales teams to meet productivity targets.
- Recruit and train team members as needed.
- Conduct marketing and promotional activities to enhance visibility of Personal Loan offerings.
- Provide regular feedback to product, credit, and process teams for improvement.
- Coordinate with credit and operations teams to ensure best-in-class turnaround times.
- Maintain high levels of collection efficiency.
- Conduct end-user checks post-disbursal of loans while achieving monthly and annual loan booking targets.
- Contribute to penetration of Personal Loan self-sourced high-value business in Rural markets through self-lead generation and customer needs assessments.
- Monitor high collections efficiency through discipline and drive.
- Gather latest market intelligence and track benchmarking against competitor banks and NBFCs.
- Evaluate growth strategies based on competitor analysis and customer feedback.
- Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network.
- Manage a team of field officers, taking responsibility for their development and attrition.
- Develop and implement livelihood advancement and community development initiatives.
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities
- Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure.
- Monitor key parameters on employee productivity, hiring quality, and attrition rates, making necessary improvements.
- Enable teams to drive growth targets by providing necessary support.
