Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team within a specific geographical region. Your primary objective is to drive revenue growth, achieve sales targets, and expand the market presence.

The Position requires in-depth knowledge of the complete building material industry sales cycle and particularly B2B business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build a strong pipeline of projects in the commercial sector by reaching out to project owners, developers, & architects
  2. Work closely with door OEMs / contractors
  3. Build relationships with end customers like developers, architects, etc., ensuring timely follow-up and reviewing the projects pipeline
  4. Proactively react to market trends for the next 3 years and identify future product needs of the Indian market
  5. Collaborate with the product management team to ensure that the product offering is aligned with the needs of the market and identify further opportunities for product development and innovation
  6. Focus on the conversion of quotations to purchase orders
  7. Prepare and present various business reports, such as sales forecasts for the segment on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis, as required
  8. Work with other internal teams, such as supply chain, product management, marketing, and specifications, to engage customers on various platforms

Required Skills:

  4. Both strategic thinker and implementer
  5. Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  6. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint with good analytical skills

Relevant Experience and Qualifications:

  1. Graduate engineers with specialization in civil/mechanical streams
  2. MBA in sales and marketing from a Tier 1 institute
  3. Relevant experience of 15+ years within the building material industry
